CAVE TUBING

By boat we travel towards Belize City, which is an hour ride. Along the way we will be passing other Islands such as Caye Caulker, Caye Chapel where the golf course is located, the historical Island of St. George's Caye where the battle was fought in 1798. In Belize City, a van with a private guide awaits your arrival to take you on one of the most exciting tours here in Belize. It is about 45 minutes along the western highway to get to the famous cave systems of Belize. We then journey through the underworld of the Maya Kingdom of XIBALBA, as you board your inner tube, complete with miners light. Your journey starts upon arrival at the caves ranch of the Siban River where pristine mountain waters greet the traveler. Walk across the river (shallow area) and take a stroll through the Rain forest of the Siban. Upon arrival at the cave entrance, splash into the water and cool off from your short walk. Then follow your guide aboard your inner tube, switch on your headlight and enjoy your tour of the caves. After that we proceed to chow down some authentic Belizean food and cold beer or soft drinks to cool us off. We are not finished yet. You must have heard about the incredible animals at the Zoo. Oh! Yes, we will stop for a short while and visit at the Zoo. We then proceed to get back to San Pedro after a day of fun. Don’t forget your hat, sunglasses and sun block
