HOL-CHAN NIGHT DIVE
The night dives are done in the channel or zone A of the marine reserve. The marine reserve already is host to abundance of marine life diving the daytime, but you will see even more at night because all the nocturnal species come out. Things you won’t normally see in the day time like shrimps, lobsters walking around, parrot fishes in their cocoons, basket stars, octopus, lemon or hammerhead sharks, and dozens of stingrays. A lot of these animals also feed at night too include the corals. You can see the green and spotted eels swimming through the crack and crevices between the corals and if he comes upon anything he can swallow, mostly small parrot fishes, blue tangs, and Sargent majors, it’s a show to see how she eats them. The tiny blood worm that usually cluster around you, dive light gets, consumed by the corals if you put the light near to it. The site here is only twenty-five feet so there is no limited bottom time. We just start heading back to the boat after the first diver reach to half his air supply average time though is 50 minutes.
